Weltix announces the appointment of Andrea Papa as Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Director.
This appointment marks far more than just a team expansion: it represents the launch of a new strategic business line for the company within the digital debt market.
Andrea built his expertise in fintech and corporate lending at Opyn, where he focused on developing financing solutions for SMEs and managing complex transactions, credit structures, securitizations, and digital processes applied to finance—always working closely with institutional investors, banks, and asset managers.
In his new role, Andrea will spearhead the development of activities related to natively digital debt products, leveraging blockchain technology and the Consob-authorized DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) Registry—both central components of Weltix’s technological infrastructure.
Weltix has built an infrastructure that enables it to manage the entire lifecycle of debt instruments—from structuring and placement to post-issuance management—in an efficient, compliant, and scalable manner.
This model has already been proven through two transactions where Weltix acted as the technological and regulated partner for tokenized debt issuances with leading financial institutions, including UniCredit.
